International real estate group, Harcourts, held its first of five annual international conferences for 2014 in the USA in early February. The two-day conference was held at the Riviera Resort in Palm Springs, California.
Almost 300 realtors from around the USA attended the conference, with outstanding motivational keynote presentations from South African television presenter and author, Braam Malherbe, success coach Darryl Davis, leading Real Estate Coach and Trainer, Mike Ferry, and Australian author and motivational speaker Sam Cawthorn.
Braam Malherbe’s presentation focused on making it happen against all odds, dreaming big, putting plans into action and achieving extraordinary greatness.
“Braam believes that we are all destined for extraordinary greatness yet many of us do not achieve this destiny because we resist change. I think our agents took home that they need to embrace change for bigger and better things to happen,” said Mike Green, Managing Director of Harcourts International.
“We have an amazing team dynamic throughout our company globally, it’s great to see our agents in the USA growing year on year with even better results. The drive, passion and motivation displayed by our team in the USA throughout conference was fantastic to witness and the event was a terrific celebration of our history, culture, and future as a group,” Mr Green added.
Harcourts Head of International, Tina Sander, said the conferences were about strengthening our Team on an international level and to focus on the values that truly differentiate Harcourts from other Real Estate groups.
“We were really excited to commence our 2014 conference season in the USA. Annually we have a conference across five of our eight countries – South Africa, USA, China, Australia and New Zealand. Each of our conferences across the globe celebrates bringing everyone together as a team and it gives us a great opportunity to launch our theme for the year , expose our Team to International keynote speakers and celebrate the hard work and commitment of our agents at the Annual Awards.” Miss Sander said.
“It was great to witness the ongoing growth of our USA Team over the last year. We have grown from nine to 20 offices and increased from 200 to 300 agents in the last 12 months. Over this period we have also seen our agent personal production in the USA increase from $3500, to in excess of $12,200 which is a direct reflection of our commitment to our vision and our client focus. We are setting a new standard not only in the USA market place, but internationally,” Miss Sander continued.
The next Harcourts International conference will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from the 12th to 14th May, with Australia and New Zealand conferences held at the end of May, followed by the Harcourts conference in China in July.
