Harcourts Pacific Regional Director, Rob Forde sat down last week with Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing star, Josh Altman to discuss all things real estate, including the Harcourts brand, and its philosophy behind their non-distressed auction platform.
Considered to be one of the best real estate agents in the United States and specializing in luxury housing markets across Los Angeles, Josh Altman is now talking auction with Rob Forde, and its benefits within the real estate market.
According to the Altman Brother’s website, Josh Altman has sold over $1.5 billion in real estate including the most expensive one bedroom house in history, which sold for over $20,000,000. His achievements are not overlooked as he is one of the stars of Bravo TV’s hit show Million Dollar Listing. Josh Altman and his brother Matt Altman are responsible for selling over $3 billion dollars of real estate, putting them at the top of the list when it comes to residential real estate sales.
Forde took this unique opportunity to open Altman’s eyes to the incredible 93% success rate Harcourts’ auction platform has had in closings since coming to the US in 2010.
Altman quotes, “I can see how a lot more people are going to start doing auction now as opposed to the traditional way of selling houses.”
Altman is certainly no stranger to success and was impressed with Harcourts auction numbers, considering it’s a growing method of transaction for the United States. During this get-together, they were already light-heartedly hinting at Altman’s consideration to use auction as a method of sale for his own property.
