Harcourts USA has officially launched a new office in the Island State of Hawaii. Excitement continues to build for their three business partners, Dave Buck, Sally DeMaggio-Royer, and Serge Krivatsy, showing incredible past results and pointing towards a bright future. Originally opening Harcourts Island Properties with intentions of bringing the Global presence of Harcourts to the Islands, they anticipate this brand-new Honolulu office to spark further Hawaiian expansion.
“Hawaii is a key market for Harcourts considering our presence in Australasia, and we see this location as a great way to connect the US and our Australasian locations,” states Rob Forde, Harcourts Pacific Regional Director.
Opening in Honolulu has provided Harcourts with an opportunity to enter an untapped market. Plus, with well over a collective 50 years of experience in the Real Estate industry, Serge, Sally, and Dave bring local knowledge and service from the ground up.
Located on the outskirts of Waikiki, there are several benefits that come along with the new setting.
“The neat thing about our location is the retail exposure. We are right on the street where people can drive by or walk in, and we are surrounded by other great businesses,” says Serge Krivatsy, part owner at Harcourts Island Properties.
Part owner as well, Dave Buck, voices with genuine enthusiasm,
“Visitors can expect to walk into a clean, open, and relaxed atmosphere located across the street from Ala Wai Golf Course. Attendees can also see the volcanic tuff, Diamond Head, from the backside of our building.”
US Harcourts members are not the only ones excited about this expansion. Managing Director of Harcourts International, Mike Green, adds,
“Opening Harcourts Island Properties in Honolulu is an exciting step for our group. Serge, Dave and Sally are outstanding partners who we are confident will continue to grow the Harcourts brand through delivering an outstanding experience for our clients.”
There may be a lot of hype behind this brand-new office, but “the Buck” won’t stop there. Hawaii Island Properties plans to expand further throughout Oahu, and also migrate into other Islands.
“Maui is a likely next step,” Krivatsy predicts. “With our Harcourts network on the mainland, we receive a lot of interest for properties on Maui.”
Additional growth in Hawaii will be with the release of Harcourts non-distressed auction platform. Harcourts has seen tremendous success through their auction process on the mainland, where they have had a 90.8% total clearance rate since arriving in the US. According to Buck, Hawaii has only experienced property auction in a distressed environment, or through third-party companies getting involved. With Harcourts remodeling the marketplace, Buck and his partners feel confident introducing this proven platform. It will provide buyers with confidence in their purchase decision, and create a higher net profit for sellers, since there is no longer that 10% share going to a third-party company.
This new Hawaiian location is ready to make a difference with their successful, experienced staff, and Harcourts is ecstatic to announce the Grand Opening.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with our office in Hawaii and also in having a varied background of owners who bring unique leadership skills,” Forde expresses. “We are excited to see what they do and we are 100% supportive of their growth and their ambitions to do so.”
